Serenade Restaurant in Hong Kong, great view and solid Chinese cuisine, lemon fillet.

After Korean buffet for lunch, we had a family dinner at Serenade, a fancy restaurant on Tsim Sha Tsui. With a view of the harbor, our family dined over Cantonese food cleverly presented.

Arriving in a charming dining room setting, dangling chandeliers and servers dressed in silk uniform sets the mood. The honey glazed BBQ pork starts the meal. Attention to detail is obvious at this restaurant. Garnishes from scallions arrive at each plate.

Crunchy green peppers and sweet pineapple make up the sweat and sour pork. Lightly battered pork chucks and a tangy sweet sauce make this a good dish.

Vibrant green vegetables (on-choy) and braised duck continue the meal. Served over a pile of picked vegetable, the tender duck meal served with an oyster sauce pairs so well with a bowl of pillowy rice.

Crispy skin and moist meat make up the moist chicken, which I consider nominal at most. Likely battered, fish fillet served in a lemon sauce delivers on point.

A milky vegetable soup finished the meal.
