After eating numerous Asian meals, my palate was lusting for something complete new, even exciting. In the posh Soho district, Rick Greek Bar greeted me. Located adjacent to a steep hill, the white colored walls and lively ambiance set the mood for a seemingly meal.
Sitting comfortable in my vanilla cushion, I was ready to place my order. Arriving in triangular cuts, the pita and hummus was a great starter. Marinated in a sweet tangy sauce, the shrimp served in a clay post was nominal. A pinch of salt would have rounded out the dish nicely.
The baked eggplant dish finished the meal. The garden notes from this dish made this a good comfort food dish.
Rick’s serves Greek food at a nominal level. With all the dining options in Hong Kong, I would skip Rick’s and aim for something remarkable.
