“Number three, number three, gooooooooooooo!”
One of the most entertaining sports in Hong Kong is horse racing. On a warm Wednesday night, a few thousand people gather at a charming race track. This is the place where people meet for drinks and a good bite, but mainly to gain a good fortune.
After a few hours in the noisy crowd, I was readying for some comfort food. Located in the land of dogs, celebrities, and fast cars Pin Bun is firmly planted in Happy Valley.
Without hesitation, I ordered the oyster pancake. The strong oyster taste and batter gave off an aromatic nutty flavor. A Hong Kong classic, the fish cake noodle was on point. White flat noodles cooked al dente and fresh fish cakes made a great dish.
Golden yellow noodles paired well with the won ton noodles.
In Hong Kong, I have been eating late meals often after 8pm. But I have not been gaining weight since most food items do not contain butter or fatty ingredients.
