Momofuku Ssam Bar is a pleasant surprise. The dishes are complex in flavors yet the foundation is familiar.
The hamachi yellowail is a great order. Thinly sliced buttery rich yellowtail is attractively plated pairing with puree edamame.
With a tart and slightly sweat fish sauce, the Brussels sprouts are inviting for the palate leaving little room for the traditional bitter tones to do the tango.
The signature house special pork buns was on pair. Tender pork meat married with pillowy buns.
Dark rich wooden panels pairs well with a staff that is friendly and noticeably dressed really hip.
