On a rainy chili day in New York City, trek over to Chinatown in the Canal Street area and enjoy great budget Asian food.
After a night of clubbing and perhaps too much drinking, Nam Son can be a great hangover cure.
Nam Son serves up great Vietnamese Pho (Beef Noodle Soup).
Filled with tones from cinnamon and anise, the soup balances savory and sweet tones.
Tender beef pairing well with rice noodles danced happily with a medley of basil and sprouts just finish the dish.
For around $10, I just had my comfort food craving satisfied.
Tip: ask the waiter to blanch the sprouts so that the temperature of the soup remains hot
