Cheapest Burger-twelve Cents Whopper Jr. Burger: April Fool’s Special at Burger King Wan Chai Hong Kong

April 3rd, 2010 · No Comments

Luckily, it was no joke. I was not fooled by the sign.

Burger King, known as the king of flame broiled burger delivered a creative special on April Fools Day.

Buy a medium sdrink, get a Whopper Jr. for $1 HKD (~ twelve cents USD)

Quenching my thirst with a refreshing cream soda, the Whopper Jr. was consistent with the taste in the United States.

I like that the Whopper Jr. actually has a slice of tomato compared to McDonald’s which mostly provide “tomato” sauce on their burgers.

With a modern decor, this Burger King outfit is not a high traffic restaurant. In Hong Kong, McDonald’s has been successful with numerous locations in Hong Kong especially in Wan Chai district.

Most McDonald’s in Wan Chai district open 24 hours.
